Top Acne Myths- Best Treatment For Acne

There are many myths and misconceptions about acne and what causes acne. Following are the top acne myths:

1. Acne is caused by poor hygiene: Acne is not caused by lack of hygiene. In layman's terms it is disorder of the hair follicle. Excess oil, dead skin cells and bacteria get trapped within the follicle and when the follicle wall ruptures, inflammation occurs leading to pimples. It should be very clear that acne is not caused due to lack of cleansing. As a matter of fact washing your face too frequently and aggressively can strip the skin of its natural lipids and damage the skin's natural barrier function. Furthermore, this is likely to make follicle produce excess sebum which further aggravates the problem. Therefore, it is essential that you do not over-wash your face.

As a matter of fact, using too many topical applications too often can harm your skin. It can result in excessive dryness, peeling, redness, and/or irritation.

4. If you have acne, you should scrub your skin everyday: People who suffer from acne tend to really scrub their face. I'm a strong person, so I've lived my life even though I've had terrible acne. But it was hard. It took a long time to find a man who could love me when my face and shoulders were so ugly. I think I've been passed over for promotions in favor of co-workers who were better looking. My husband finally said, why don't I do something to help myself. So I read about every product I could hear of. Only Acnezine sounded like it would be completely safe and very effective. I got some, and I was just amazed. I look like I never thought I could, and there haven't been any sorts of side effects or problems. If my husband never does anything else for me, I'm going to love him forever for starting me on the road to using Acnezine.
